A small-scale Wushu workshop designed for one class size, this programme aims to provide an introduction and overview of Sports Wushu through an interactive and hands-on session of basic Sports Wushu training. Let our capable and experienced KUEN Trainers guide your students through a session of Wushu games and activities and watch them enjoy themselves as they pick up interesting snippets of information and skills such as self-defence awareness and wrist and joint techniques. Workshop content may be customized to cover the following topics:

  1. Sports Wushu appreciation
  2. Self-defence concepts and techniques
  3. Cultural exchanges – Wushu and Silat
  4. Wushu Strategy War Game (learn and apply problem-solving skills & interpersonal skills)

Objectives of programme:

  • Rouse student interest in Sports Wushu via engaging Wushu classroom activities.
  • Let students tryout fun elements of Sports Wushu, i.e. target pads, wrist locks and escapes, joint techniques, etc.
  • Learn to appreciate Sports Wushu through video viewing of Wushu training and competition.

Learn to apply Wushu skills and sports-related knowledge of stretching and warm-up exercises outside the Wushu lesson.
